Some days are good...

some not so good. I will begin with a positive note and say that Bradley and I got to spend the first half of the week at Orange Beach with 2 friends of ours. We are blessed to work with and enjoy spending time with Allen and Andrea Maness. So we were pretty excited when they invited us to the beach for a few days. My meds were working in full force so we enjoyed a day on the beach where we "took more tan" than we intended to. We also enjoyed some good seafood and shopping. We ate at a place called Shuckers on Monday night...quite possibly the best crab claws I've ever eaten.
Yesterday was back to reality. I had a rough day and today wasn't much better. I don't know who came up with the term "morning sickness" but they were off by a lot. My devotion Monday was about being thankful in all things. I am so thankful for this pregnancy. We've wanted this for a long time. And the doctor says, "sickness is a good sign!" Well when you're in the throws of morning sickness, it's hard to be thankful for nausea or see it as a good sign.
I believe that Gantt Beach is calling my name. I'd like to lay around a read for a few days...preferrably in the sunshine.
